Obituary
Abbie Crowder, 92, of Olton, died Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Olton. Services are 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 18, at Main Street Church of Christ with Valentine Martinez and Brad Wangerin officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Abbie was born July 17, 1921, in Dike, Texas, to Leslie and Beatrice Knight Marshall. She moved to Olton in 1961 and operated Pee-Wee's Grocery until 1989.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.H. Crowder, four brothers, and a sister.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Ivins of Olton, a sister, Geraldine Moore of Olton, and two grandchildren, Tina Ivins of Dallas and Timothy Ivins of Lubbock. She was blessed with five great-grandchildren, Sapphire, Duranda, Tim Jr., Tyler, and Kimberly, and one great-great-grandchild, Ariha.
