Abel Joseph Reyes, 54, of Earth, died Sunday, April 26, 2020, in Earth.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Iglesia Del Pueblo in Earth with Pastor Angie Castillo officiating. Interment will follow at Earth Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Abel was born, the youngest of 20 children, on March 19, 1966, in Bryan, Texas, to Eusebio and Francisca (Salinas) Reyes.  A lifetime resident of Earth, Abel was a member of Iglesia Del Pueblo (IDP) in Earth.  Abel enjoyed going to estate sales, the flea market, and listening to music.  A very easy-going man, Abel loved making people laugh and taking care of others.  He loved to cook-out with family and spending time with his daughter, grandchildren, and over 200 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Miguel Reyes, and three sisters, Erlinda Duran, Isabel Reyes, and Francisca Reyes.

Survivors include his daughter, Cassie Jo Reyes of Amarillo, seven brothers, Antonio Reyes of Earth, Eusebio Reyes Jr. and his wife Sally of Bryan, Lupe Reyes of Bryan, Victor Reyes and his wife Eva of Littlefield, Francisco Reyes and his wife Lupe of Springlake, Jesse Reyes and his wife Nora of New Home and Richard Reyes and his wife Tammy of Springlake, and five sisters, Yolanda Frias of Pleasanton, Maria Herrera and her husband Armando of Plainview, Maggie Monreal and her husband J.R. of Earth, Alicia Reyes of Plainview, and Celia Reyes of Dimmitt.  He was blessed with four grandchildren: Elizabeth, Isaiah, Lliyah Jo, and Eric.
