Alberto O. Garcia, 76, of Hale Center, died Friday, April 3, 2020, in Hale Center.  Cremation arrangements are under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.  No services are scheduled at this time.

Alberto was born April 8, 1943, in Pierdas Negras Coahuila, Mexico, to Carmen and Maria Garcia Magdaleno.  On January 31, 1979, he married Pura Cantu.  Alberto moved to Hale Center in 2003, from Cotton Center, and was a Christian.  A farmer by heart, Alberto thoroughly enjoyed working outdoors on the farm.  He enjoyed boxing, collecting baseball caps, and was a talented jewelry craftsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ricardo Garcia, three brothers, and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Pura Garcia of Hale Center, four sons, Alberto Cruz Garcia of Huntington Beach, CA, Ernesto Garcia of Nampa, ID, Alberto Garcia, Jr. of Lubbock, and Ariel Garcia of Lubbock, three daughters, Maricruz Garcia of Atlanta GA, Belinda Garcia of Lubbock, and Belicia Garcia of Hale Center, one brother, Hipolito Garcia, and two sisters, Mariana Reyes and Gloria De Luna.  He was blessed with 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
