December 1, 1932 – October 15, 2025
Alene Carson Allcorn, 92, a lifelong resident of Olton, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Celebration of life memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam and Brother Kyle Streun officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.
Alene was born December 1, 1932, in Olton, to Herschell and Lucille (Gentry) Carson. She graduated from Olton High School in 1950, attended Texas Tech University and married her high school sweetheart, Gerald Allcorn. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage.
Alene was a homemaker, friend, and Olton Mustang fan. She was a cheerleader in high school and continued cheering her boys and grandchildren on in activities from Olton to Austin to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Alene was a member of the First Baptist Church and served in many capacities. She was a great friend, she enjoyed friendships from high school and college throughout her life, kept up with cousins across the country and enjoyed her siblings and nieces and nephews. Alene was blessed with three daughter-in-laws that she cherished. Alene's wisdom and time was shared freely with her grandchildren. She was a gatherer with a full home, always ready to spend time playing a hand of cards or visit over a puzzle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Wayne and Eddy, and a grandson, Cole.
Alene is survived by three sons, Vic of Amarillo, Kyle and Troy Don of Olton and a sister, Fern Gunter of Amarillo and brother Harlan of Olton. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Sherry, Ashley, Dan, Anna Lee, Natalie, Audra Beth, and Jack and 9 great grandchildren, Sawyer, Emma, Lane, Maddie Jane, Harrison, Ellie, Ada Kate, Brooks, and Graham.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
