Amador "Mayo" Anzaldua, 46, of Olton, died Sunday, November 6, 2011, in Lubbock. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 10, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Mayo was born July 10, 1965 in Olton to Eddie and Nicomedes Rivera Anzaldua. He graduated high school in Texas City in 1983. He was a catholic and loved his work as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Anzaldua in 2000, his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.
Survivors include his mother, Nicomedes Anzaldua of Littlefield, his grandmother, Maria Anzaldua of Amarillo, three brothers, Anthony Anzaldua of Texas City, Albert Anzaldua of Orange, TX, and Arnoldo Anzaldua of Littlefield. He was blessed with two very special nephews and a niece, Little Tony, Nick, and Michelle.
