Antonio "Tony" Valdez, 70, of Olton, died Friday, March 1, 2024, in Olton.  No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation arrangements are under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Tony was born May 23, 1953, in Linares, Durango, Mexico, to Antonio Sr. and Refugio (Calderon) Valdez.  A longtime Olton resident, Tony was a mechanic and machine worker.  He worked for Rube and Sons in Olton for many years.  Tony loved fishing, dancing, going to casinos, and going to the horse races.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Jorge Valdez and a sister, Maria de los Angeles Valdez.

Survivors include his sons, Tony Valdez, Jr. of Olton, Danny Valdez and James Valdez, both of Phoenix, Arizona, daughter, Kandy Garcia of Phoenix, Arizona, two sisters, Sylvia Valdez of El Paso and Rosario Valdez of Santa Monica, California, and a close cousin, Berta Lopez of El Paso. He was blessed with seven grandchildren.
