Benito "Benny" Sifuentes, 89, of Olton, died Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Olton, Texas. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton with Fr. Alex Ambrose officiating.  Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Spur Memorial Cemetery in Spur, Texas, under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ramage Funeral Directors, in Olton.

Benito was born March 21, 1935, in Buda, Texas, to Lorenzo and Libredita (Serrano) Sifuentes.  On August 31, 1957, Benny married the love of his life, Lillie Cantu and they were married over 67 years. He moved to Olton in 1969 and was a member of St Peter's Catholic Church.  He was a hard working farmer and devoted his life to supporting his family.  Over the years, Benny spent time working with many families including the Allcorn's, Nafzger's, Kennedy's, McGill's, and Ramage's.  Benny enjoyed fishing and especially loved drinking coffee and visiting with farmers at the local gin and co-op.

Benny was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Libredita Sifuentes, a son, Mike Sifuentes, a brother, Simon Sifuentes, and a sister, Delia Escobido.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Sifuentes of Olton, two sons, David Sifuentes of Olton and Federico Sifuentes of Carrollton, a daughter, Christine Goss and husband John of Amarillo, a brother, Jesse Sifuentes of Austin, and a sister, Valentina Sifuentes of Austin. He was blessed with six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
