IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty Ann
Ledbetter
March 3, 1955 – March 23, 2022
Betty Ann Ledbetter, 67, of Lubbock, died Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in Hale Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, in Hale Center, with Pastor Travis Zachary officiating.
Betty was born March 3, 1955, in Haskell, Texas, to Glen and Ernestine (Bouch) Lawson. A lifetime Lubbock resident, Betty was a wool and pant presser at Gristy's Cleaners for over 25 years. She married Ronnie Dale Ledbetter on November 10, 1992, in Lubbock. Betty was a member of World Harvest Christian Center in Lubbock and she enjoyed driving around listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed fishing and watching college football, especially Texas Tech Red Raider football. A very stubborn and self-reliant lady, Betty always put others before herself. Attending her grandchildren's activities and spending time with family was extremely important to Betty and she will be dearly missed.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronnie Dale Ledbetter, in 2021, a son, Travis Edwards, in 2002, and a sister, Glenda Bates, in 1995.
Survivors include her son, Larry Paul Edwards of Lubbock, her daughter, Malysa Stone of Levelland, step-son, Ronnie Ledbetter, Jr. of Lubbock, step-daughters, Shadow Ledbetter of Brownfield and Tasha Ledbetter of San Antonio, a sister, Carolyn Isabelle of New Hampshire, and her aunt, Nelda "Sue" English of Haskell. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
