Bill J. "Billy Jack" Langford, 83, of Circle, died Friday, May 27, 2011 in Olton. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 29, 2011 in the Juniper Room at Runningwater Draw Care Center in Olton with Darleen Langford Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Bill was born April 6, 1928 in Circle, Texas to Houston and Annie West Langford. He served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1956. He married Lee Bulls and they lived in Circle where Bill farmed. In 1981, Bill opened the Old Circle Store and worked alongside his wife until retiring in 1998. Bill was a former board member for Olton ISD, the Olton Cemetery Association, and the Lamb County Water Conservation District. Most important to Bill was his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son-in-law, Arno Hall in 2004.

Survivors include his wife, Lee Langford of Circle, three daughters, Darleen Hall of Jayton, Cherry Barker and her husband, Bobby, of Lubbock, and Robbie McClain and her husband, Lannie, of Dallas, and one sister, Wanda Exter of Circle. He was blessed with seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
