Bobby Dean Williams, 83, of Lubbock and formerly of Olton, died Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas.  A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Olton Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.  Arrangements are being handled by Ramage Funeral Directors.

Bobby was born June 7, 1941, in Tahoka, Texas, to Thomas and Thelma (Bean) Williams. He graduated from Spade High School in 1958. On June 16, 1962, Bobby married the love of his life, Carol Bynum, and they were married over 62 years. A police officer and sheriff deputy for many years, Bobby worked at the Olton Feed Yard for over 28 years until his retirement in 2003.  Bobby enjoyed collecting coins and was an avid college football fan, especially the Texas Longhorns. Family was most important to Bobby and he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Raymond Williams, Jim Williams, and Ken Williams, and a granddaughter, Leanne Russell.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Williams of Olton, two sons, Kevin Williams and wife Laura of Wolfforth and Craig Williams of Lubbock and two daughters, Cindy Russell of Olton and Christi McPheron and husband James of Wolfforth. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
