Brandi Renee Harriss, 39, of Plainview, walked into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 30, 2023, in Plainview, Texas and is now resting in peace. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Harvest Christian Fellowship, in Plainview, with Pastor Glenn Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, at Harvest Christian Fellowship, in Plainview.
Brandi was born March 5, 1984, in Plainview, Texas, to Randy and Kristi (Bilberry) Harriss. Brandi graduated from Plainview High School in 2002 and dedicated her life to serving her community as a 911 dispatcher for the Hale County Sheriff's Office for over 16 years. Always there to provide assistance and comfort in times of crisis, her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many.
Brandi was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and the Texas Longhorns. Family game nights, tea parties with Sloane, and attending Slayde and Andrew's sporting events were things that brought her great joy. She saw the beauty in God's creation and loved to capture pictures of sunrises and sunsets. Her family was the center of her world, and she delighted in showering them with love and affection.
Brandi was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nan Bilberry (Nana), her paternal grandparents, A.D and Mary Harriss, an uncle, Gary Harriss, and her Brothers in Blue: Robert Rivera, Mark Mull, and A.J. Bonner.
Survivors include her parents, Randy and Kristi Harriss of Plainview, her grandfather, Jack and wife Mary Reed Bilberry of Graham, her brother, Ran Harriss and wife Kailey of Plainview, her bonus sister, Heather Harriss of Plainview, her bonus son, Andrew Cervantez of Plainview, nephew, Slayde Harriss, niece, Sloane Harriss, and numerous aunts, uncles, and other family members.
