Bud Andrew, 90, of Olton died Friday, August 20, 2010 in Plainview. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother Patrick Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Raymon "Bud" Andrew was born February 28, 1920 in Wellington, Texas to Ben and Bessie Patterson Andrew. He moved to Olton in 1924 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. In 1938, he married Marie Keeter. She preceded him in death in 1977. He married Maxine McCleery in 1978 in Plainview. Maxine preceded him in death in 2009.
Bud enjoyed deer hunting in Colorado and he loved gardening. He was best known for his work with his hands. He was a talented mechanic, working on tractors, automobiles, and airplanes throughout the years. He was also a master woodworker. He made furniture, model cars, trucks, tractors, and airplanes. His pride and joy was the wooden gas powered car he crafted. He looked forward every year to the Sandhills Parade and would drive his wooden car for everyone to see. Bud was also a dedicated volunteer for the Olton Ambulance Association.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Juanelle Boone in 1993, a brother, Andy Andrew and a sister, Marie Stewart.
Survivors include two sons, Neil Andrew and his wife, Linda of Newark, DE, and Kenneth McCleery of Mishawaka, IN. He was blessed with seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, August 23, 2010.
