Carlos "Brownie" Hernandez, 44, of Olton, died Thursday, October 16, 2014, in Lubbock. Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 21 at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Carlos was born February 27, 1970, in Olton to Nabor and Maria (Martinez)Hernandez. He was a lifetime Olton resident and was employed at West Texas Trenching.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, and a sister.

Survivors include his son, Charlie Hernandez of Abilene, two brothers: Nabor Hernandez, Jr. of Earth and Rene Hernandez of Olton, four sisters: Silvia Nieto of Amarillo, Elissa Contreras of Olton, Virginia Jimenez of Olton, and Janie Ramirez of Dimmitt. He was blessed with three grandchildren.
