Carlos was born in Elgin, Texas, to Carlos Sr. and Eudelia (Rivera) Olivarez. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his work and always looked for ways to help others. Most recently, he worked for Branson Tractors, repairing tractors and delivering them to farms throughout the area. Even when he was sick, Carlos continued doing what he could to work and stay busy.
Carlos was known for his sense of humor and love of conversation. He enjoyed visiting with people and brought warmth and laughter to those around him. His faith was a guiding part of his life. He attended Harvest Christian Fellowship, where he was baptized in 2018, and participated in online men's Bible studies with men from around the world. He was also involved in a ministry that provided food and treats, including popcorn and snow cones, for children. Carlos was a man of strong faith who dedicated his life to God.
Family was at the center of Carlos's life. He worked hard to make sure his loved ones had everything they needed and cared deeply for those around him. He met his wife, Yolanda, while she was working at the J&H restaurant, where he frequently came to eat. They shared 22 years of marriage, and Yolanda described Carlos as the only love of her life. Carlos had a special way with children and loved them all, whether they were his own or someone else's.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Olivarez, Sr., a son, Carlos Olivarez, III, and a nephew, Nick Carpenter.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Yolanda Olivarez of Olton; his mother, Eudelia Olivarez of Wisconsin; his son, Elvis Olivarez of Olton; his daughter, Ruby Olivarez of Olton; two brothers, James Olivarez and Gilbert Olivarez, both of Wisconsin; and two sisters, Tammy Olivarez of Wisconsin and Delia Olivarez of Florida.
