Carmen Lopez, 67, of Olton, died Friday, December 15, 2023, in Levelland, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 22, 2023, at Main Street Church of Christ, in Olton, with Evangelist Dallas Carrasco officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Carmen was born April 19, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, to Severo and Petra (Martinez) Amaya.  Moving to Olton in 1964, Carmen was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.  On September 15, 1979, Carmen married Larry Lopez in OIton. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing on her tablet.  Family was important to her and she loved her grand dogs and especially loved her grandchildren.

Carmen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry Lopez in 2011, and two brothers.

Survivors include her sons, Johnny Lopez and wife Trina of Levelland and Jimmy Lopez and wife Maggie of Olton, two brothers, Domingo Amaya of San Antonio and Leonard Amaya of Plainview, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Lopez of Olton. She was blessed with four grandchildren: Alyssa, Aaron, Alexis, and Daniella and one great-granddaughter, Kinsley Rose Aguilar.
