Obituary
Carolyn D. Reon, 91, of Snyder, died July 3, 2014, in Olton.
Carolyn was born January 20, 1923, in Snyder, Texas and was the daughter of Nelson and Mamie Dunn. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1939 and went on to earn her Masters of Education. A teacher for 42 years at Snyder ISD, Carolyn was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charlie Dunn.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Simmons of Scottsdale, Arizona and Julie Helton of Greenville, Texas; four grandchildren, Mella Shadden of Cotton Center, TX, Sean Holden of Costa Mesa, CA, Mike Simmons of Meridian, CO, and Dirk Simmons of Scottsdale, Arizona. She was blessed with ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be scheduled at a later date.
