Christobal Adan "Chris" Flores, 46, of Olton, Texas, died Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2026, at Olton Methodist Church with Mr. Jimmy Villanueva and Pastor Kyle Brock officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.
Chris was born June 10, 1979, in Hale Center, Texas, to Rafael Flores and Josefa Rivera Gloria. A lifelong resident of Olton, Chris filled every room he entered with laughter, energy, and joy. Though he viewed the world through the eyes of a child, he possessed a heart larger than life and a spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Chris graduated from Frenship High School in 2000, a moment his family remembers fondly as he crossed the stage with a triumphant smile and his hands raised high in celebration. He found happiness in life's simple pleasures and embraced each day with enthusiasm. Chris loved to sing, dance, and rap. He never met a plate of pizza, spaghetti, or ice cream he didn't enjoy. He loved playing with his Hot Wheels, enjoyed coloring books, Disney movies, and bowling.
The first boy in a family of girls who lovingly fussed over him, Chris was deeply devoted to his family. He dearly loved his momma, treasured his sisters, and never missed an opportunity to make those around him smile. His sunny disposition, infectious excitement, and genuine love for people made him the life of every gathering. Above all, Chris loved Jesus and lived a life filled with simple joys, unwavering affection, and contagious happiness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rafael Flores; his mother, Josefa Gloria; his stepfather, Rudy Gloria; and a brother, Joe Tony Cordero.
Survivors include his seven sisters, Terri Jaso of Olton, Yolanda Villanueva of Lowell, Arkansas, Linda Roberts of Lubbock, Ester Seawright of Olton, Dorothy Cordero of Olton, Angela Rodriguez of Olton, and Kimberly Flores of Littlefield; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
