Cornelio A Segura, 70, of Plainview, died Friday, August 13, 2021, in Plainview, Texas.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Girard Cemetery in Girard, Texas, under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center.

Cornelio was born March 25, 1951, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Julian and Maria (Almanderez) Segura.  A 20 year area resident, Cornelio moved to Plainview ten years ago.  He enjoyed playing the lottery, especially scratch off tickets.  Watching westerns, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Longhorns were some of his favorite things to do.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed building bird houses.  Cornelio was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Leslie Dawson Segura, a grandson, Juan Carlos Alfaro, two brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include four sons, Enrico Segura of Pueblo, CO, Jesse Segura, Arnulfo Segura, and Sergio Segura, all of Indiana, four daughters, Racheal Segura and Joy Segura, both of Stigler, OK, Linda Segura and Sylvia Segura, both of Indiana, six brothers, Julio Segura of Weatherford, Hilario Segura of Jayton, Juan Segura of Salem, OR, Frank Segura of Amarillo, Enrique Segura of Floydada, and Mario Segura of Spur, and two sisters, Ysabel Gutierrez and Stella Garcia, both of Spur.  He was blessed with ten grandchildren.
