Daniel Romy DeLeon III, 34, of Earth, died Saturday, May 7, 2016, in Beeville. Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 13, 2016, at IDP (Temple of Adoration) in Earth with Pastor Angie Castillo and Pastor Melvin Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Earth Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton.

Daniel was born January 28, 1982, in Littlefield, Texas, to Daniel DeLeon, Jr. and Diane DeLeon Camarena. He was a lifetime resident of Earth and member of Mount Zion Church. A talented athlete, he excelled in football and track. Daniel ran track while attending South Plains College. He loved working outdoors and drawing. Spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, was also important to Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel DeLeon, Jr. in 2014, his grandfather, Armando DeLeon in 2015, and his favorite cousin, Gabriel DeLeon in 2008.

Survivors include his mother, Diane Camarena and her husband, Leonardo of Earth, his grandmother, Gregoria DeLeon of Earth, his grandfather, Daniel DeLeon, Sr. of Beeville, a daughter, Madison Emmaline Garza of Lubbock, one brother, Matthew DeLeon of Miami, FL, three sisters, Angela DeLeon of Earth, Tiffany James and her husband, Craig of Clovis, and Lisa Marie Carrasco of Lubbock, two nieces, Aubrey DeLeon and Amorette Carrasco, a nephew, Kyren James, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
