Daniel C. Sandoval, 52, of Olton, died Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Lubbock. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 20, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 21, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. John Smith as celebrant. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Daniel Cesar Sandoval was born October 27, 1963, in Harlingen, Texas, to Cesar and Eva (Barrera) Sandoval. He married Terri Valdez in 1985 and made Olton his home. A member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Daniel had the kindest heart and was known for his willingness to help anybody in need. He loved his family but his grandson, Zakry, was his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Eddie, Shorty, and Ben, a sister, Lidia, and a niece, Yannette Sandoval.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Sandoval of Olton, his daughter, Ami Sandoval-Rios and her husband, Eddie of Olton, four brothers, David Sandoval of San Juan, Texas, Demetrio Sandoval of Olton, Enrique Sandoval of San Juan, and Gerardo Sandoval of Olton, and four sisters, Carolina Sandoval of Olton, Orfelinda Sandoval of San Juan, Priscilla Garcia of San Juan, and Pat Rodriguez of Edinburg. He was blessed with one grandson, Zakry Daniel Rios.
