Della Faye O'Neil, 90, of Olton, died Monday, July 2, 2012. Services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Main Street Church of Christ in Olton with Mr. Brad Wangerin officiating. Services will also be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, July 6, 2012 at Wellington Church of Christ in Wellington with Mr. Phil Collard and Mr. Byron Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Wellington under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Della Faye was born August 4, 1921 in Collingsworth County, near Quail, to Frank and Willie Thomas Coleman. During World War II, she joined the Women's Army Corp. She attained the rank of Corporal and worked as a recruiter at the "WAC Shack" in Amarillo. After the war, she worked at the State Health Department in Lubbock. While living in Lubbock, she served as the local "boarding house" for many relatives as they attended Texas Tech University. She was a member of Sunset Church of Christ and was very involved in various church activities. She loved playing games, especially Bridge, loved Texas A&M, and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Leathers and her husband, David of Olton, and Cindy O'Neil of Chandler, AZ, one son, Pat O'Neil and his wife, Sally of Winchester, VA, and a sister, Mazine Davidson of Annapolis, MD. She was blessed with five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M., Thursday, July 5, 2012.
