Delores Gover, 79, of Earth, died Sunday, January 17, 2021, in Lubbock. No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation arrangements are under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Born September 19, 1941, in Petersburg, Texas, Delores was the daughter of Hap and Ruby (Brooks) O'Dell.  She married J. Allen Gover on August 20, 1960, in Littlefield, and they were married over 60 years.  Delores moved to Earth in 1960 from Littlefield and was a member of the First Baptist Church.  A talented seamstress and cook, Delores enjoyed music and playing the piano.  She loved going to Ruidoso and, most of all, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a grandson, Michael Josiah Gover, in 1990.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, J. Allen Gover of Earth, two sons, Bobby Gover and wife Lezlie of Earth and Michael Gover and wife Cheryl of Amarillo, her daughter, Kelly Welch and husband Greg of Earth, one sister, Martha Upchurch of New Deal, and a brother, Bill Foster of Ballinger.  She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
