Dorothy E. Garcia, 54, of Olton, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in Plainview. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Pastor Hilario Coronado officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Dorothy was born in Hackberry, Texas on October 7, 1960, to Joe Cruz and Betty (Rogers) Ellis. She married Salomon Garcia on November 24, 1975, in Dimmitt. Dorothy was a homemaker and member of New Life Pentecost Church. Moving to Olton in 1977, Dorothy loved to sing and go to church. She was crazy about her grandchildren and loved going to garage sales. Gone too soon, Dorothy will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Anna Jones, a brother, and a sister.

Survivors include her husband, Sal Garcia of Olton, four sons, Abel Garcia and his wife, Natasha of Plainview, Matthew Garcia and his wife, Annabelle of Olton, Timothy Garcia and his wife, Nicole of Princeton, and Greg Garcia and his wife, Tiarra of Olton, one daughter, Gabby Garcia of Olton, four brothers, Joe Ellis, Jr. of Hereford, David Ellis of Amarillo, Adam Ellis of San Angelo, and Jeremiah Jaso of Hereford, and seven sisters, Frances Jaso of San Angelo, Betty Torres of Littlefield, Lupe Ellis of Lubbock, Rita Ellis of Amarillo, Linda Gonzales of Lubbock, Eva Ellis of Amarillo, and Betty Estella Jaso of Amarillo. She was blessed with nine grandchildren.
