Obituary
Eduardo "Lalo" Martinez, 76, of Olton, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, in Olton. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Friday, October 7, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 8, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Olton with Fr. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hart Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Mr. Martinez was born October 13, 1934 in Uvalde, TX to Silvestre and Isabel Dominguez Martinez. He was a lifetime area resident and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He loved to walk and literally walked across America.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Carlos Martinez and his wife, Elizabeth of Dumas, a daughter, Adriana Medrano and her husband, Carmelo of Slaton, and a brother, Tony Martinez of Minnesota. He was blessed with six grandchildren.
