Obituary
Eliseo L. Ramirez, 45, of Ropesville, TX, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 in Lubbock. Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Ropesville with Jeff Taylor and Bill Titus officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 P.M. at West Park Cemetery in Hereford, TX under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton.
Eliseo was born February 17, 1966 in Hereford to Eliseo Ramirez, Jr. and Elizabeth Chavarria. He married Melissa Urrutia on September 30, 1988 in Plainview. In 2002, he moved to Ropesville from Childress. He was an avid runner and talented musician.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Ramirez of Ropesville, a son, Nicolas Sebastian Ramirez of Ropesville, his grandmother, Nancy Chavarria of Amarillo, a brother, Richard Castillo of Waco, two sisters, Amy Ramirez of Hereford and Elizabeth Castillo of Plainview, his aunt, Hope Chavarria of Hereford, and his uncle, Eddie Chavarria of Amarillo.
Memorials may be made to the Ropes Eagle DAT Scholarship 304 Ranch Ropesville, TX 79358.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M., Saturday morning, at the First United Methodist Church in Ropesville.
