Eloyce Smith, 96, of Olton, died Monday, March 31, 2014, in Olton.  Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Olton Cemetery with Gail Bizzell officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

Eloyce was born August 6, 1917, in Northfield, Texas to S.F. and Cora Smith Bennett.  She was a lifetime Olton resident and married W.M. Smith, Sr. on June 11, 1933, in Clovis, New Mexico.  She was a member of Main Street Church of Christ and devoted herself to serving others whenever needed at the church.  She was a homemaker which included taking care of her family by working alongside them on the farm and at home.  She was named Olton's Sandhills Queen in 1999.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.M. Smith, Sr. in 1988, three sisters, one brother, and a grandson, Nicky Smith in 2000.

Survivors include her son W.M. "Billy" Smith, Jr. and his wife, Geneva, of Olton, two grandchildren, Ricky Smith and his wife, Deborah of Olton and Kelli Smith and her husband, Daniel of Olton, five great-grandchildren, Chris Smith, Crystal Salinas, Logan Smith, Zepplin Smith, and Bonham Smith, and three great-great-grandchildren, Taelyn Salinas, Kurt Salinas, and Aiden Smith.
