Elvira Fonseca, 78, of Olton, died Saturday, June 23, 2018, in Olton.  Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam and Sister Veronica Aviles officiating.  Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Elvira was born September 1, 1939, in Runge, Texas, to Alfred and Elvira (Cardenas) Garza.  A lifetime Olton resident, Elvira marred Nasario Fonseca in 1951 in Yorktown, Texas.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and her flowers.  Elvira was also a talented painter, cook, and loved to shop.  Her children, grandchildren, and family were very important to her and she will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nasario Fonseca, in 2001, her parents, two brothers, a sister, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Survivors include her son, Paul Fonseca of Chambers, NE, seven daughters, Juanita Estrada and her husband Jesse of Andrews, Ophelia Pichardo of Andrews, Mary Ann Bosquez and spouse Danny Ramirez of Olton, Gilda Perez and her husband Richard of Olton, Andrea Rodriguez and her husband Robert of Olton, Priscilla Aviles and her husband Tony of Olton, and Veronica Aviles and her husband Roy of Ballinger, one brother, Alfred Garza of Olton, and two sisters, Juanita Mendoza of Corpus Christie and Santos Gonzales of Amarillo.  She was blessed with 29 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
