Esther Saldivar, 73, of Olton, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in Plainview.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.  Cremation arrangements are under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Esther was born January 11, 1946, in Brackettville, Texas.  She moved to Olton in 1980 from San Jose, California.  Esther was a talented cook and could make amazing dishes out of nothing.  She had a green thumb and enjoyed her plants and flowers.  Esther was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers, Ruben Morin and Richard Morin, and two sisters, Rebecca Longoria and Rosa Rodriguez.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Saldivar of Plainview and Michael Saldivar of Olton and a daughter, Yvonne Jaso of Tecumseh, Nebraska.  She was blessed with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
