Etta Mae Dinwiddie, 69, of Hale Center, died March 22, 2018, in Temple. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Hale Center with Pastor Michael Hickman officiating. Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Hale Center. The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Friday, March 30, 2018.
Etta Mae was born August 9, 1948, in Lockney, Texas, to Roy and Mamie (Stucy) Childress. A lifetime Hale Center resident, Etta Mae was an excellent cook and loved eating ice cream. Most important to Etta Mae was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Cruse and a brother, Ray Childress.
Survivors include her son, Johnny Session and his wife Nicole of Lubbock and two daughters, Virgie Halton and her husband Tarik of Dallas and April Session-Hall of Waco. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
