Euna Sides, 98, of Lubbock and formerly of Olton, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Hereford. Services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Larry Holder officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Euna was born December 18, 1911 in Burneyville, Oklahoma to Clem and Maude Liner. She married Truitt Sides, November 26, 1932 in Clovis and moved to Olton in 1938. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was involved with the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Olton Study Club. Euna also enjoyed volunteering at the Runningwater Draw Care Center in Olton. In 1999, she moved to The Sherick in Lubbock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Truitt Sides, in 1975 and a son, Danny Lee Sides, in 1977.

Survivors include two daughters, Norma Walden and her husband, Bill of Hereford, and Betty Benton and her husband, Donny of El Paso. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
