Frances "Kika" Alirez, 70, of Olton, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in Olton. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Olton Cemetery with Mr. Jon Hernandez officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.  The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, December 21, 2018.

Frances was born March 9, 1948, in Cuero, Texas, to Manuel and Guadalupe (Garcia) Hernandez.  She married Jack Alirez in 1969 and was a lifetime Olton resident.  A hairdresser for 50 years, Frances owned the Hair Affair in Olton.  She loved to read, crochet, and work on crafts.  Frances had a great sense of humor and was a good friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Alirez, in 1998, five brothers, and a sister.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Donnie George Alirez and his wife Alisha of San Antonio, Marcos James Alirez and his wife Loretta of Lubbock, and Lee Alirez and his wife Nancy of San Diego, CA, two daughters, Jo Ann Garza and her husband Jesse of Lubbock and Lisa Alirez of Midland, MI, four brothers, Raymond Hernandez of Fort Worth, Jon Hernandez of Bastrop, Roberto Hernandez of Baldwin Park, CA, and Pedro Hernandez of Kingsville, and three sisters, Lupe Contreras of Amarillo, Pauli Ibarra of Garland, and Maria Luisa Guerrero of Olton.  She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
