Frances Brown, 96, of Olton, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 in Olton. Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 2, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Rev. Bobby Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Brown was born August 25, 1915 in Hearn, Texas to Alford and Molly Alexander Council. She moved to Olton in 1947 and was a member of Bonner Chapel. In 1960, she married Osborn Brown in Plainview. He preceded her in death in 1991. Always enjoying her Dr. Pepper, Frances was a wonderful lady who will be missed by many.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Ira Davis, five brothers and a sister.

Survivors include five grandchildren, Ira Davis of Olton, Robert Charles Davis of Ft. Worth, Earvin Davis of Arlington, Eddie Ray Davis of Ft. Worth, and Janet Denice Davis of Lubbock and a host of great-grandchildren.
