Obituary
Frances V. Leathers passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 in Lubbock.
Services will be Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother Patrick Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Olton Cemetery.
Frances was born September 17, 1931 in Lamesa, Texas to William and Martha Rainer. She married C.W. "Dub" Leathers, December 9, 1950 in Plainview. She was a longtime Olton resident and member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Belle's and Beau's Square Dance Club and she loved to play bridge.
Survivors include her husband, C.W. "Dub" Leathers of Olton, son, David Leathers and his wife, Linda of Olton, daughters, Brenda Cambron and her husband, Dave of Lubbock, Barbara Hart and her husband, Danny of Tahoka, sisters, Marie Burge of Plainview and Lanore Brewer of Seminole, brother, Glen Rainer of DeQueen, Arkansas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Ryan and Michelle Leathers, Skye Leathers, Chad Nelson, Trenci Cambron, Joshua and Whitney Cambron, Brent Nelson, Jacob Cambron, Joey Cambron, Gary and Dellana Beesinger, Scott and Cary Short, Brenon Eaker, Kaylee Eaker, and Michael and Micha Shields and her six great grandchildren, Jayden, Shaylee, Slade, Lauren, Harmony, and McKenzey.
Memorials may be made to the Olton Cemetery Association P.O. Box 1055 Olton, Texas 79064 or Runningwater Draw Care Center P.O. Box 409 Olton, Texas 79064.
