Fred DeLaRosa III, 64, of Olton, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in Lubbock. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, August 28, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 29, 2014, at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Fred was born July 1, 1950 in Olton to Fred DeLaRosa II and Josie Zamora. He married Alicia Limon and they were married for 50 years. She preceded him in death in 2013. He was a lifetime Olton resident, was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and enjoyed playing the accordion.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Fred DeLaRosa II in 2010, a sister, Reyna Molina in 2007, and a son, Donnie DeLaRosa in 2014.

Survivors include his mother, Josie DeLaRosa of Olton, four sons, Freddie DeLaRosa, Harold DeLaRosa, Gilbert DeLaRosa, and Tony DeLaRosa, all of Olton, three daughters, Norma DeLaRosa, Yolanda DeLaRosa Olivarez, and Nora Gonzalez, all of Olton, two brothers, Oscar DeLaRosa and Daniel DeLaRosa, both of Olton, and two sisters, Josie Garcia and Maggie Cortez, both of Olton. He was blessed with 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
