Fred DeLaRosa, Jr. II, 86, of Olton, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in Lubbock. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Trinity Baptist Church in Olton. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Fred was born May 11, 1924 in Harlingen, Texas. He married Josie Zamora and they were married over 65 years. He moved to Olton from Harlingen in 1949 and was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Josie DeLaRosa, II, and Reyna Molina, two brothers, Richard DeLaRosa and Felix DeLaRosa, and two sisters, Teresa Hernandez and Emila Flores.

Survivors include his wife, Josie DeLaRosa of Olton, three sons, Fred DeLaRosa III, Oscar "Chief" DeLaRosa, and Daniel DeLaRosa, all of Olton, two daughters, Josie Garcia and Maggie DeLaRosa, both of Olton, two sisters, Delia Ruiz of Olton, and Flora Ramirez of Lubbock, thirty-six grandchildren and sixty-six great-grandchildren.
