Gary W. Reed, 73, of Olton, died Sunday, August 2, 2020, in Olton.  Private family services are scheduled at this time under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Gary was born October 15, 1946, in Littlefield, Texas, to Carl and Billie Jean (Allen) Reed.  He married Beth Rankin on June 3, 1965, and they moved to Olton in 1974 from Bovina.  He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1972. Gary was a talented welder and carpenter and thoroughly enjoyed working and building things with his hands.  He was amazing at woodworking, construction, and metal work.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Reed of Olton, three brothers, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
