Gladys "Granny" Judson's Obituary
Gladys "Granny" Judson, 96, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 in Olton. Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the Juniper Room at Runningwater Draw Care Center in Olton with Brother Larry Holder officiating.
Mrs. Judson was born June 11, 1912 in Ivan, Texas to John and Mattie Ruth Wesley. She retired as a teacher after serving 17 years at the Imperial Unified School District in El Centro, California. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Eastern Star. She moved back to Olton in 2005 from Phoenix, Arizona.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Martin and her husband, Charles of Olton, four grandchildren, Chad Martin, Jimmy Martin, Gayle Thornberry, and Dianne Sackrider, and four great grandchildren, Daniel, Kimberly, Kimberly, and Jessica, and four great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church P.O. Drawer K Olton, Texas 79064.
