Obituary
Gladys Wood, 95, of Olton, died Sunday, January 13, 2013, in Olton. Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Olton Cemetery with Mr. Brad Wangerin officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Gladys was born May 28, 1917 in Hico, TX to Charlie and Della Bird Harris. She married Raymond A. Wood on January 1, 1935 in Paducah, TX. In 1952, they made their home in Cotton Center before moving to Olton in 1995. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Main Street Church of Christ.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1999, two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her son, Gary Wood and his wife, Vicki of Springlake and her daughter, Sandy Rae Adrian and her husband, Larry of Lockney. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Clay Adrian, Erin McEndree, Josh Wood, Jill Stone, and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
