Gwynne Turner, 91, of Olton, passed away and went to a wonderful place called Heaven, Monday, April 2, 2012 in Seminole. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 6, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Gwynne was born October 17, 1920, in Commerce, Texas to Claud and Ruby Berry Apperson. She married Joe L. Turner, May 13, 1939 and they were married for 72 years. She lived in Olton since 1952 before moving to Seminole in 2010. Gwynne worked as a bookkeeper at a local grocery store for several years. Most of her years, she was a housekeeper and great mom. She loved to play Bunco with the ladies in Olton and really liked to play bingo.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa Kirsch and Mildred Snell, and two brothers, Bill Apperson and Happy Apperson.
Survivors include her husband, Joe L. Turner of Seminole, two sons, Bobby Turner and his wife, Barbara of Olton, and David Turner and his wife, Gaynette of Seminole. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Chris Turner, Jennifer McCormick, Heather Sanchez, Cari McIntire, and Kristi Flusche. She also had ten great-grandchildren, Tyler McCormick, Brooke McCormick, Travis Turner, Austin Turner, Mallery Warden, Avery Sanchez, Caitlin McIntire, Kylie McIntire, Brittney Flusche, and Lindsey Flusche.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M., Friday, April 6, 2012.
