Obituary
Helen Goodman, 86, of Olton, died Friday, December 18 in Lubbock. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, December 21, 2009 at Olton Cemetery with Rev. Valentine Martinez officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Goodman was born June 5, 1923 in Cooper, Texas to Burl Toon and Delia McCain Toon. She married Jeff Goodman, June 18, 1945 in Sulphur Springs. She moved to Olton in 1951 and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991 and a brother, Billy Toon in 1998.
Helen is survived by her son, Terry Goodman and his special friend, Rusty Dewees of Lubbock and a sister, Chyrstelle Holt of Greenville, Texas. She was also blessed with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association P.O. Box 1087 Olton, TX 79064.
