Hilario Parra Ramirez, Jr., 58, of Olton, died Saturday, April 11, 2015, in Lubbock. Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at New Vision Pentecostal Church in Olton with Rev. Joe Zavala and Rev. Noel Chaparro officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held at New Vision Pentecostal Church on Monday and Tuesday.
Hilario was born December 30, 1956, in Mart, Texas, to Hilario Ramirez, Sr. and Juanita Ojeda. He was a lifetime area resident and member of New Vision Pentecostal Church in Olton. Married to Juana Ramirez, Hilario was a farmer and active member of the church. A talented musician, Hilario loved to sing and play the guitar. He especially enjoyed barbecuing and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juana, in 2009, his parents, and a sister, Hilda Garcia.
Survivors include his son, Randy Rodriguez of Olton, a daughter, Patsy Hinojosa of Brownfield, three goddaughters, Marjorie Wright of Littlefield, D'Anne Garza of Lamesa, and Lisa Marie Moreno of Lamesa, three brothers, Pete Ramirez of Marble Falls, Epimanuel Ramirez of Austin, and Damon Gonzales of Dimmitt, and a sister, Frances Ramirez of Midland.
