Idilfonzo Heredia, 81, of Olton, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013, in Plainview. Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church in Olton with Arturo DeLaCruz officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Mr. Heredia was born January 23, 1932 in San Juan De Heredia, Durango, Mexico to Luciano Chavira and Francisca Heredia. He moved to the Olton area in 1950 and was a farmer. In 1980, he married Maria Guadalupe Haros. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Monica Heredia, and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Guadalupe Heredia of Olton, two sons, Juan Heredia of Olton and Cesar Haros of Round Rock, two daughters, Francisca Guerrero of San Antonio and Claudia Haros of Ciudad Juarez, three brothers, Jesus Heredia and Pablo Heredia of Chihuahua and Dafino Heredia of Sun Park, N.M. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
