Jack Gullett, 84, of Olton, died Monday, June 8, 2015, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 12, 2015, at Main Street Church of Christ in Olton with Mr. Brad Wangerin officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Jackie Lynn Gullett was born June 10, 1930 in Burkburnett, Texas to Adler and Joyce (Clayton) Gullett. He was a lifetime area resident and member of Main Street Church of Christ. On September 8, 1950, he married Juanell Grimsley and they were together almost 65 years. Jack was a farmer and loved working the land until he retired in 2007. Working with horses, training and racing, was his passion. Jack also enjoyed western books and movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Ronda Derrington.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Juanell Gullett of Olton, his son, Lynn Gullett and his wife, Becky of Canyon, his daughter, Jenny Jenkins and her husband, John Ben of Olton, three brothers, Perry Kelly Gullett of California, Bob Gullett of Kress, and Kenneth Gullett of Houston, and a sister, Twyla Woodring of Plainview. He was blessed with eight grandchildren: Coy Gullett, Jill Libby, Jodie Karsack, Austin Gullett, Wendy Coyel, Amy Gatewood, Jack Jenkins, and Jonny Jenkins, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
