Obituary
Paul Jack Kirby, 80, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 in Lubbock. Services will be 1:30 Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Larry Holder officiating. Interment will be in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Jack was born December 22, 1927 in Richardson, Texas. He married Lou Pollard March 26, 1952 in Hale Center. He served in the US Army as Staff Sergeant from 1952-1954. Jack moved to Olton in 1967 from Hale Center and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a farmer and drove a truck for West Texas Gas.
He is survived by his two daughters, Annette Harmon and her husband, Roy of Olton and Carla Wright of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, three grandchildren, Randy Harmon, Shane Harmon, and Daniel Wright, and two great- grandchildren, Tyler and Tate Harmon.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Lou in 2005 and a granddaughter, Telon in 1994.
