Jamie Sauceda, 55, of Lubbock, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at Olton Cemetery, with Evangelist Neal Schofield officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Jamie was born September 26, 1968, in Olton, Texas, to Victor Sr. and Virginia (Ruiz) Sauceda.  He was married to Rosalinda Solis for 31 years.  A mechanic for over 30 years, Jamie enjoyed working on trucks and other vehicles. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Jamie liked to fish, especially catfishing.  Family was important to him and his grandchildren were his life.  Times with his family, grilling and playing, were the things he loved most.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, Victor Sauceda, Sr., a brother, Bobby Rey Sauceda, and a sister, Jane Sauceda.

Survivors include his wife, Rosalinda Sauceda of Lubbock, his daughter, Valerie Olivas and husband Elver of Lubbock, his son, Rene Ramos and wife Britany of Lubbock, his mother, Virginia Sauceda of Olton, his brothers, Victor Sauceda, Jr. and wife Josie of Olton, Phillip Sauceda and wife Silvia of Olton, and Chris Sauceda of Olton, and his sisters, Leonora Sauceda of Olton and Corina Sauceda of Olton. He was blessed with seven grandchildren: Elloy, Aniyah, Amelia, Avery, Melina, Alayna, and Miles.
