Jane Sauceda, 55, of Olton, died Thursday, November 11, 2021, in Plainview, Texas.  Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2021, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton.  Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with Fr. Jeremy Trull, officiating.  Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. The family is recommending masks be worn due to covid concerns.

Jane was born August 11, 1966, in Olton, Texas, to Victor Sr. and Virginia (Ruiz) Sauceda.  A lifetime area resident, Jane moved to Olton a year ago from Cotton Center and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.  Jane loved to cook and she was a master at it.  Fishing and listening to music were also her favorite things to do.  Jane was a proud Texas Longhorn and Denver Bronco fan.  A loving woman, Jane never had children of her own but her nieces and nephews were like her own.  She loved every one of her nieces and nephews and she will be missed and cherished forever.

Jane was preceded in death by her father, Victor Sauceda, Sr., a brother, Bobby Ray Sauceda, and a niece, Hannah Michelle Sauceda.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Sauceda of Olton, four brothers, Victor Sauceda, Jr. and his wife Josie of Olton, Phillip Sauceda, Sr. and his wife Silvia of Olton, Jamie Sauceda and his wife Rosa of Lubbock, and Chris Sauceda of Olton, and two sisters, Corina Sauceda of Olton and Leonora Sauceda Garza of Cotton Center.  She was blessed with 14 nieces and nephews: Phillip Jr., Bridget, Vincent, Kassandra, Victoria, Vanessa, Tommy, Mia, Max, Valerie, Rene,  Elena, Liz, and Julie and several great-nieces and nephews.
