Janice Marita Stueart Walters, 84, of Olton, died Sunday, February 11, 2024, in Haskell, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Olton Cemetery, with Mr. Robert Harrell officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Ramage Funeral Directors.

Janice was born September 13, 1939, in Littlefield, Texas, to L.C. and Virginia (Cole) Stueart. A lifetime Olton resident, Janice married the love of her life, Travis Frank Walters, on December 20, 1955.  A dedicated farmer's wife and homemaker, Janice's family came first in her life. She served as a Den Mother and ran the concession stand for the baseball program for years. She was involved in the Olton community.  Working at the Olton Flower Shop for over 15 years, Janice was also a former dispatcher for the Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association and a volunteer at the Olton Chamber of Commerce.  An active member of Celebrate Recovery in Olton, Janice loved blessing people with the gift of a Celebrate Recovery Bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Travis Walters, and two sons, Marty Walters and Sam Walters.

Survivors include her son, Jim "Hot Dog" Walters and wife Debbie of Rochester, Texas, two daughters-in-law, Melinda Walters of Saginaw and Tanya Walters of Olton, and two brothers, Jimmy Stueart of Littlefield and Danny Stueart and wife Janice of Breckenridge.  She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
