Jimmy V. Guerrero, 43, of Olton, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, in Olton.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Olton Cemetery, with Fr. Jacob Powell officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2021, at Ramage Funeral Directors.  All precautions are being taken with masks being required and no more than 20 people at any time in the funeral home.

Jimmy was born August 23, 1977, in Dimmitt, Texas, to Jancelmo and Andrea (Vega) Guerrero.  He moved to Olton from Hart with his family in 1991.  A 1996 graduate of Olton High School, Jimmy loved working outdoors on the farm and ranch.  He enjoyed working cattle and was a cowboy at heart.  On August 22, 1998, Jimmy married the love of his life, Julia Sandoval, in Plainview.  Jimmy had a funny sense of humor and always could find a way to make you laugh.  Never too busy to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, Jimmy was a hardworking loving father and husband.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Jancelmo Guerrero, in 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Julia Guerrero of Olton, his son, Jimmy Guerrero, Jr. of Olton, his daughter, Julissa Guerrero of Olton, his mother, Andrea Guerrero of Olton, and five sisters, Angie Gomez and her husband Evodio of Olton, Yolanda Leos and her husband Randy of Littlefield, Elena Saenz and her husband Raul of Anton, Maribel Espinoza and her husband Francisco of Lubbock, and Lorena Gomez and her husband Ruben of Lubbock.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton.
