Jo Darlene Smith, 65, of Olton, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in Olton. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Rev. Valentine Martinez officiating. Graveside services will be 5:00 P.M., Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Darlene was born January 14, 1947 in Wichita Falls to Kenneth Pratt and Loveta Ozment. She moved to Olton in 1992 from Garden Grove, CA and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was an EMT and Pre-Paramedic and volunteered for the Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association for 15 years. Her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Wayne Pratt.

Survivors include her parents, Paul and Loveta Ravize of Garden Grove, CA, a son, Kenneth Smith and his wife, Veronica of Olton, and two daughters, Robin Cogswell of Abilene and Danielle Smith of Olton. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Austin Smith Sanchez, Ashleigh Smith, Ayden Smith, Alyssa Smith, and Kalina Smith.
