Jo Ann Stamps, 74, of Olton, died Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Plainview, Texas.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral  Directors.

Jo Ann was born July 22, 1947, in Brownfield, Texas, to James and Lorene (Yoakum) Thomas.  She moved to Olton in 1975. Jo Ann worked at the Pizza Parlor in Olton for over 12 years and then at the Sandhills Village Assisted Living Center for over 15 years.  Jo Ann enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and coloring in adult coloring books.  She and her grandchildren could often be found coloring together when they were at her house.  Jo Ann also loved  Texas Tech and enjoyed watching Red Raider sports. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren, and you knew you were loved if she was pestering and picking on you.  A prankster at heart, Jo Ann will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jo Ann is survived by her sons, Judd Gaddy of Ft. Worth and Jamie Stamps and his wife Heather of Olton, daughter, Monica DeBerry and husband Craig of Olton, and two brothers, Rex Thomas and Gene Thomas, both of San Antonio.  She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Tracy DeBerry, Dillon DeBerry, Courtney Craven, Hanna Zimmerman, Trinity Stamps, Jakobe O'Neal, and Danika O'Neal and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
